What the free tier deliberately is not

It is not a demo with the answer blurred out. A tool whose whole job is telling you not to spend money has to earn trust before it is worth paying for, and you cannot judge that from a crippled version. So the single card verdict is complete: the distribution, the break even grade, the odds, the real cost, and every reason behind it.

The paid half is a genuinely different job. One card is a question you ask once. A submission is a planning problem where postage is shared, tiers have ceilings and minimums, and the best box is not the best card repeated twenty times.

Things that are not part of the deal

  • No ads, ever, on either tier.
  • No selling or sharing what you look up.
  • No analytics or tracking pixels following you off the site.
  • No account required to use the free tier.
  • No affiliate deals with grading companies. The app has no reason to prefer one, and telling you not to submit at all has to stay a possible answer.

Honest about the cost of running it

Real graded prices are bought from a market data provider and billed by the call, which is most of what it costs to run this. That is the whole reason a paid tier exists: the alternative is ads or selling data, and both would corrupt the answers.
